PillTime pharmacy delivery FAQs
PillTime delivers your full prescription to your door, for free. This includes any additional items such as inhalers, creams and liquids.
When will my order be delivered?
PillTime aims to deliver your medication in good time before you are due to start your next repeat prescription. Once your PillTime parcel is on the way, we will send you an email, which will include any available tracking information. Don't forget you can login to your patient account to see what is happening with your prescription order.
Can I request a delivery time?
We will let you know what date your medication is due for delivery and provide tracking information. Unfortunately at present we cannot arrange for your medication to be delivered at a certain time of day.
Who will deliver my medication?
Your prescription will be delivered by Royal Mail or a Hermes courier.
Do you charge for delivery?
No, delivery is free of charge.
What if I’m not at home?
If you are unlikely to be home or cannot get to the door, please let our team know. We can arrange for your medication to be delivered to an alternative address, such as a trusted neighbour or a work address.
Do I have to sign for delivery?
Deliveries containing Controlled Drugs require a signature. If you are unlikely to be home or cannot get to the door, please let us know so we can arrange your delivery around your requirements.
How will my insulin be delivered?
We will always send your insulin in refrigerated packaging on 24-hour tracked delivery, which keeps your medication at the required temperature in transit. Insulin deliveries are made from Monday-Thursday only, so we can ensure the medication is with you within 24 hours.
Do I get a PillTime box every time?
To reduce waste we issue our PillTime dispenser box on your first pharmacy delivery only. Then any time you need another drop us a message and we'll happily replace with a new one.
