Free NHS service for your business

More time caring. Less time sorting.

Dispensing multiple medication to your service users is a complex and repetitive task. It takes valuable time, and the need for accuracy can cause added pressure.

PillTime is an NHS registered online pharmacy. We sort each individual’s daily medication into pouches. Each pouch is clearly labelled with their name, NHS Number, dose and the time it needs to be taken.

We send you a box of pouches and non-pouched items (such as lotions and inhalers) every 28 days for each service user. Our pouching and delivery service is free.

Pouch plus points +

+  Improve adherence

How PillTime works

Step 1

Request a free consultation

Our team understands the care sector. We listen to your needs and provide a tailored response for your business about how PillTime’s pouches and free pharmacy service can support you.

Step 2

Sign up and order

Every month, simply order your prescriptions with your GP and send us a copy. We ask for your order 20 days before the cycle begins, and we give you plenty of time to count and check your stock.

Step 3

Free delivery

We send all the items on your service users’ prescriptions in their own box, at least 5 days before their start date. Deliveries can be tracked and contain a shipping note so you can count-in medication stock easily.

Step 4

Dedicated account manager

You have a named contact, so there’s no waiting on a switchboard. And you can create an online account to check on the status of your prescriptions 24/7. You could feel closer to our online pharmacy than your local one.

Save time and money

In an independent NHS trial, PillTime saved care homes on average 21 hours a week on medication rounds, with cost savings of almost £2,000 per month.

In hospital wards nurses saved 87 minutes each per day, with a monthly benefit of over £3,300.

Future pharmacy now

Human error leads to 237 million medication mistakes every year in England. For accuracy, we have invested in digital robotic technology programmed to sort each individual’s medication into daily pouches.

It is a fail-safe process – we verify pouches using an an optical scanner and our experienced pharmacists hand-check each pouch for accuracy.

As an online pharmacy we don’t have a physical ‘shop front’. But it’s easy to book a call with our pharmacists at a time that suits you.

About our pouches

Boost staff morale

Care providers tell us that staff recruitment and retention is one of their biggest challenges. By revolutionising the medication round, our pouches help take away one of the primary causes of stress and anxiety for your staff.

“We no longer spend long lengths of time having to de-blister several different medications for patients.”

“The descriptions on the pouches for all medication make for simpler and faster administration.”
